Dr Cláudia Zennaro has been a physician at Ferticentro since 2017, enthusiastically supporting couples undergoing fertility treatments. With a close and personalized approach, she strives to provide not only excellent medical care but also guidance, confidence, and reassurance at every stage of the reproductive journey. She has a particular interest in human reproduction and high-risk obstetrics.
Before establishing her career in Portugal, Dr Zennaro built a solid professional background in Brazil, gaining extensive experience in Gynecology and Obstetrics. She completed a professional internship at Hospital Maternidade Oswaldo Nazareth (Praça XV) in 2006 and worked at the outpatient clinic of the Associação dos Servidores Públicos do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (ASPERJ) from 2006 to 2013. She specialized in Gynecology at the 28th Ward of Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Rio de Janeiro in 2006 and in Obstetrics at the 33rd Ward in 2007. During this time, she served as a maternity physician in various hospital units, including Hospital da Mulher in Cabo Frio (2008); Hospital de Cachoeira do Macacu (2009); Hospital and Clínica São José (2008–2009); and Hospital and Clínica Perinatal São Gonçalo (2009–2013).
Between 2013 and 2017, she worked as a high-risk obstetrician in the Cuidados pela Vida Program (CEMEDCARE – AMIL / DIX / Medial) in the Niterói region, managing complex clinical cases and ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Dr Zennaro completed the equivalence of her medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, Portugal, in 2008, after graduating from University Gama Filho, Brazil, in 2005. In 2024, she completed a Postgraduate degree in Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Alcalá, Spain, further expanding her expertise and commitment to the overall well-being of her patients.
Human reproduction was a dream I never imagined I would pursue, as until then I was fully dedicated to high-risk obstetrics. Receiving the invitation to join the Ferticentro team in 2017 was a unique opportunity to enter a field I had always been interested in. Over the years, working with such complex patients has become a true labor of love: celebrating achievements, helping to fulfill the dream of motherhood, and taking part in such meaningful moments is a great responsibility, but also deeply rewarding. Attending human reproduction congresses across Europe allows me to continue learning and to bring new ideas and techniques that help me better support my patients.
