Since 2021, she has been part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferticentro.pt\/en\/\">Ferticentro<\/a> team, working in the field of reproductive medicine, supporting couples and patients undergoing fertility treatments, providing careful and personalized guidance at every stage of the treatment process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She graduated in Medicine in 1991 from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uc.pt\/en\/fmuc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Faculty of Medicine at the University of Coimbra<\/a> and completed her specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Maternidade Bissaya Barreto, becoming a specialist in 2002. In 2015, she achieved the rank of Consultant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout her career, Dr Retroz has gained extensive experience in leading hospitals, including seventeen and a half years at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ulso.min-saude.pt\/unidade-de-caldas-da-rainha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Centro Hospitalar Oeste in Caldas da Rainha<\/a>, one year at Centro Hospitalar da Cova da Beira, and five months at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitaisonline.pt\/viseu\/hospital-sao-teotonio-viseu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hospital de Viseu \u2013 S\u00e3o Teot\u00f3nio<\/a>. In addition, she also practices at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cuf.pt\/hospitais-e-clinicas\/hospital-cuf-coimbra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hospital CUF Coimbra<\/a> (since 2019), at Policl\u00ednica Central da Benedita, and at <a href=\"https:\/\/clinicaespacoenergia.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cl\u00ednica Espa\u00e7o Energia<\/a> in \u00d3bidos, where she manages patients in general gynecology, obstetrics, and advanced clinical procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-right is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\"><em>The best moment is when patients are able to become pregnant. It is especially challenging in difficult cases, but seeing the smiles on women\u2019s faces when they hold a healthy baby in their arms is indescribable.
