My situation
Two cells, one egg and one sperm. It all begins from this union – when one spermatozoa from many thousands manages to make its way to the fallopian tubes and pierce the membrane surrounding the egg.
To be able to conceive under natural conditions, the couple should be healthy and there should be no problems in the production of oocytes and spermatozoa. The woman must have normal and permeable tubes and a uterus with conditions conducive to embryo nidation, and man must produce sperm with sufficient numbers of spermatozoa, with no motility or morphology problems.
So why are more and more couples having difficulty getting pregnant? The answer is not always simple, and always requires the evaluation of the particular situation of each couple.
